I'm So Dizzy, My Head is Spinning...

Well! Last Thursday morning the alarm went off as usual. Pita (the bad kitty) immediately jumped on my chest as if to say "feed me NOW!" I stretched, and got out of bed, bent down to give Pita a pat (see if you don't get it, I'll 'splain) and BAM! My entire world started spinning! I felt like I was on a carnival ride. I dropped to the floor and did some breathing exercises, Pita with his ears back, was not pleased at the delay in his breakfast. In about 30 seconds, the spinning stopped and I walked gingerly into the kitchen to feed the kitties.

I soon discovered that if I moved my head in ANY direction at all just a little to fast, I'd be right back on the merry-go-round. I took a shower and got dressed and went to work (don't ask me why, I was not thinking clearly). I figured I was a little dehydrated and just needed a little time to feel normal - NOT!

Soon after arriving at work, I realized that the "spells" were continuing and were getting worse. So, now I'm getting a little scared. I've never experienced anything like it - not even in the few earthquakes I've experienced out here in Cali. I made an appointment, voluntarily, with the doctor for tests, and went home to rest. To make a long story short, each day I felt a little better - I spent the weekend watching DVDs from Netflix.

Yesterday (Monday) I went to the doctor and he thought that it is most likely an inner ear infection. I got a prescription and now I feel almost like myself! I find out the results of my blood test and I'll keep you posted.

Cheers!

I remember Ashley WHILE I was in high school. I believe she had her first batch of kittens in 1982 or 1983. Our youngest sister knows for sure.
